Okay, this took me forever to build. I started the enclosure in early 2004. I started the wiring the circuit in late 2003. Spring 2005 rolls around and it hasn't been touched for a year. So much for momentum.

I think I got hung up on the enclosure. I was building it out of the leftover wood from the first theremin, so it's design wasn't so much planned as determined by what scraps I had. Also, I built my wife a jewelry box last spring that had a neat angled design, which I then wanted to include in this box. So I cut, re-glued, cut, routed, cut, glued again and finally ended up with this mahogany and maple Frankenstein's monster of an enclosure. But I'm pretty pleased with it.
