Winter

Another Louvre moment. The four paintings - Autumn, Winter, Spring, Summer - are just outside the chaos of the Mona Lisa. So while I was waiting for the crowds to thin a bit, I happened on Arcimboldo. Fantastically surreal for something that dates from 1573.
