I ran across this in the Louvre in 1995. It's just weird, especially in contrast with the other paintings from the Fountainebleu School which live around it. There seems to be a lot written about the nipple tweak - no surprise there - and some of the theories are pretty far out. But it doesn't take away from how bizarre and funny this painting is.
