Roger Mills is a trumpeter, composer and media sound artist whose practice and research focuses on networked music performance, improvisation, music composition and experimental radio. Credits include sound design for multiscreen cinema film Hindsight - Ignition Films, score for BAFTA award winning dance theatre performance At Swim Two Boys by Earthfall, UK, and a Golden Eye award for contrapuntal radio performance Idea of South. Roger is currently undertaking a Ph.D at the University of Technology, Sydney, where he also teaches in contemporary and electronic music studies. He is online editor and curator of sound arts journal and net label Furthernoise.org, and works as a freelance composer and sound designer. Performances and exhibitions include Medi@terra, Athens, Sonic Circuits, Washington DC, Plac.Art.X headphones festival, Regensburg, Germany, Loop Space Gallery, Newcastle, Memory Flows and Don't Look Gallery, Sydney.
